Our annual tradition continues with our FREE Christmas Dinner. This year is special as it marks the 40th Anniversary of the Shields Family hosting all of you for a beautiful christmas Dinner. Come one, and come all, because nobody should be alone at Christmas.
Feel free to join us from 11AM – 5PM on December 25th to celebrate .
There is no cost to you, but if you are able, we ask that you bring non-perishable food items or money to donate to the Leduc and District Food Bank.

Get ready to groove and support a great cause at the Alberta 55+ Summer Games 2025 fundraising event, featuring Edmonton’s must-see party band, The Barkells! This energetic and charismatic six-piece band is set to light up the stage with their unbeatable blend of face-melting, booty-shaking hits, covering over 200 songs across all genres. From corporate events to festivals, The Barkells have rocked every stage they’ve graced, and now they’re bringing their electrifying performance to Leduc with their spins on some of the greatest hits from across the decades.
Originally the house band at The Denizen Freehouse in Edmonton’s Ice District, The Barkells have a proven track record of selling out shows up to three times a week for four consecutive years. Their incredible talent has also earned them opening slots at Ford Hall in Rogers Place for world-renowned acts like Coldplay, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen, and The Lumineers.
With something for everyone, The Barkells are sure to set the party on fire, making this fundraising event a night to remember. This concert will hell ensure that from on August 21-24, 2025 the Alberta 55+ Provincial Summer Games will be a giant success.
