Revera
Hailing from Edmonton, Revera channels the raw energy and introspection of the ’90s grunge movement into a modern rock sound. Known for their high-energy performances and a seamless blend of hard rock riffs and introspective lyrics, the band has been a rising star since their formation in 2022. With their Juno-nominated collaborator Sandro Dominelli, they released the acclaimed EP A Moment in Time in 2023 and earned accolades through their work with St. Albert’s Amplify program. From headlining local venues to debuting a self-produced documentary, Revera’s passion for music and storytelling is evident.
Velvet Concord
Prepare to be blown away by Velvet Concord, a band that marries the intensity of Black Sabbath, the grit of Velvet Revolver, and the catchiness of Nickelback. After forming in 2022, they quickly gained recognition by winning the top prize at Rock For Your Spot 2023 and competing in Wacken Metal Battles Canada. Their self-titled debut EP (August 2023) showcases their raw, heavy, and fast-paced sound, with a full-length album slated for release in 2025. Velvet Concord’s music is a must-hear for fans of unapologetic, loud rock.
Lewd Antics
Edmonton’s own Lewd Antics are a high-octane mix of hard rock and grunge, delivering powerful live performances that leave audiences wanting more. Featuring Dustin Sroka on vocals, Jake Danis on guitar, Adam Kubalik on bass, and Jack Healey on drums, this quartet merges modern energy with classic rock vibes. With a sound that’s equal parts grit and groove, Lewd Antics is a band you won’t want to miss.
Burning Starships
Emerging from Edmonton’s indie rock scene, Burning Starships brings a fresh yet nostalgic vibe to the stage. Influenced by the likes of The Strokes and Sonic Youth, their music combines infectious melodies with emotionally rich storytelling. Since their formation in 2023, Burning Starships has captivated audiences with their unique blend of youthful energy and raw authenticity, carving out a space as one of the city’s most exciting new bands.
