The Ride for Mom is a motorcycle event to raise awareness for domestic violence through a one day motorcycle ride.
Our goal is to assist Central Alberta Regional Victim Serving Society in the goal to end domestic violence. Over 10,000 women, their children, and seniors were assisted by local agencies. With the drastic increase in cases of domestic violence, Ride for Mom could use your help more than ever to help put an end to this tragedy that affects us all.
Too often, those faced with situations of abuse feel they have no voice. The Ride for Mom is the voice to help victims regain control of their lives and to live in a world free of domestic violence.
Please join us on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 to help raise funds to give a voice to those who need it most.
The Ride for Mom will begin and end at Blackjacks Roadhouse & Games Room, which is located at 2110 Sparrow Drive in Nisku, Alberta.

The Mainstreet Cruisers, The Edmonton Street Rod Association, and The Edmonton MOPAR Association are coming together for the biggest and best car show of the summer. Shine up that chrome, put the pedal to the metal, and roll on down to Blackjacks Roadhouse & Games Room on Saturday, May 24th, for the ultimate car show of 2025.
There will be a 50/50 Draw and Awards, so bring your ride, bring your family, and bring your friends to check out Edmonton’s vibrant Classic Car Community!
Proceeds will be going to charity.

The Rotary Club of Nisku-Leduc is thrilled to announce the return of our annual LOBSTERFEST on Friday, May 30, 2025, at RedTail Landing Golf Club in Nisku. Last year, we raised over $30,000 and we are hoping to make an even greater impact this year with your support!
This exciting evening will feature a lobster and steak dinner buffet, live and silent auctions, a photo booth, numerous chances to win prizes and tons of other fun. All proceeds will benefit the Leduc Community Hospital Foundation, the Rotary Music Festival and other initiatives supported by the Rotary Club of Nisku-Leduc. Tickets are $ 100.00 per person or $ 800.00 for a table of eight, reserved in your name or a company’s name.

Chad Lodge, the Canadian country singer-songwriter hailing from Edmonton, Alberta. Chad’s love for music started at a young age, but it wasn’t until he was 14 that he realized his true talent. From there, he bought his first guitar at 16 and taught himself how to play while simultaneously diving into songwriting.
Growing up, Chad participated in numerous singing contests, sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the industry like Aaron Goodvin and Colleen Rae. He even won a few first-place spots, solidifying his passion for music.
Chad has performed all over Alberta, with some of his favorite shows being at BVJ and The Rainmaker Rodeo. He even had the honor of performing at the Winspear Centre alongside Canada’s biggest Pipe band, the Edmonton & District Pipe Band, a remarkable accomplishment.
In 2010, Chad won the Internet People’s Choice Award for his #1 Internet single “How Do You Sleep At Night” on Soulful Country Radio, a surprise achievement that he cherishes to this day. His music has even reached as far as Germany, where he had the opportunity to be interviewed.
Sadly, in 2017, Chad took a short pause from the music world due to his father’s passing from brain cancer. His father had been his bass player since the beginning of his career.
But in 2020, Chad picked up his guitar once again and started writing new music. He released his first radio single, “We Got It Made,” which quickly climbed to #4 on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown.
Chad’s second single, “Home Again,” released in October 2021, has been a massive success, reaching #1 on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown.
Now, Chad is set to release his first-ever EP, featuring three new songs and his previously released singles. With his undeniable talent and passion for music, Chad Lodge is a name you won’t want to forget.
He is also sharing the stage with his group Prairie Junction, band members (Allin Savard, Rob Savard, Keanan Shaw, and new up and coming artist by the name is Kody Price)
